Pay Rate: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience)

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a detail-oriented Accounting Associate for a temporary assignment with a well-established insurance services organization. This role is ideal for someone with accounting experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and process financial transactions, including journal entries

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform account and bank reconciliations

• Support month-end close activities

• Prepare and review basic financial reports

• Assist with audit preparation and documentation

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred

• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
