General Laborer – Duties & Responsibilities

Trailer Cleaning & Preparation

• Clean and inspect trailers to ensure they are free of debris and ready for use.

• Sweep, wash, and remove any materials left inside trailers.

• Report any damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns related to trailers.

Trailer Hookup & Equipment Handling

• Safely hook up and disconnect trailers to and from trucks or equipment.

• Verify proper attachment, including safety chains, lights, and brakes.

• Assist with moving, loading, and unloading items or materials.

• Operate basic tools and equipment as required for daily tasks.

Yard Work & Outdoor Labor

• Perform yard maintenance such as mowing, trimming, raking, and general groundskeeping.

• Keep outdoor areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal or storm cleanup when needed.

Communication, People Skills & Workplace Conduct

• Work cooperatively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.

• Communicate clearly and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

• Use common sense and good judgment to solve problems and complete tasks safely.

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all work environments.

General Support

• Assist with moving, lifting, and organizing materials or equipment.

• Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.

• Support additional labor tasks as assigned by management.

Pay Rate

$12–$15 per hour (depending on experience and job requirements)
